As third-culture kids who grew up across five countries, settling in Canada was a big adjustment for us. We had to figure out applying to Canadian university, entering the workforce, making cultural adjustments—and how to leverage our international experiences within these environments. We saw that global talent—from professionals to international students—needed better solutions for connecting their experience and education to their Canadian career goals. That’s why we started EduConnect.
EduConnect is a career development community for global talent and international students becoming professionals in Canada. With ten years of experience in facilitating newcomers’ employment, our professional network and educational resources help global talent integrate and optimize their education, career, settlement, and immigration choices.
EduConnect also offers consulting solutions to postsecondary institutions. We work with universities to create customized programs that prepare international students to transition into successful professionals in Canada.
